Although Bella Vista is privately owned, guests can make use of the pool and beach at the nearby Sunset Waters Hotel, free of charge.

The drive from the airport to Bella Vista is approximately 25 minutes. The nearest supermarket is approximately 20 minutes drive away. Otrobanda and Punda (Curacao’s historic town center) are located approximately 35 minutes away.

This location is best suited for people who enjoy a quiet and laid back vacation, away from the big crowds. This location is also excellent for divers who want to be close to Curacao’s best diving spots, accessible by boat or from shore.

THE HOUSE
The house can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, high vaulted ceiling, an open living and dining room, a modern kitchen, a balcony, and a sunroof offering panoramic ocean view.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The walking distance to the hotel and beach is less than 5 minutes. Guests staying at Bella Vista are welcome to use the facilities of the hotel, including swimming pool, beach (with beach chairs and shade), tennis court, miniature golf, etc. There’s also an excellent dive facility on site.

For those guests who do not like to cook during vacation, we highly recommend the meal plan offered by Sunset Waters Beach Resort for approximately US$50 per person per day. Another alternative is to open an account at the hotel for all meals and drinks consumed during your stay.

CLEANING

Bella Vista is cleaned once a week. Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are provided.

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Toilet paper, soaps and garbage bags will be placed in the house prior to your arrival. Other articles such as detergent, washing powder, paper towel, matchboxes, herbs, cooking oil, insecticide, etc. are not standard. These are for the account of guests.

ARRIVAL
To the guests who will rent a car (highly advised at this location), driving instruction will be provided on how get to the house from the airport. Guests who do not need a car can request taxi transfer service. Cost of transfer from the airport to this location is US$40 for trips before 10:00 p.m. Between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. a 25% surcharge will be added.

Upon arrival at the house you will be met by the caretaker of the house who will check you in and hand over the keys. She will be your contact person during your stay at Bella Vista.

RENTAL RATES (2008-2009)

1 to 6 guests:  
US$ 260 per night / (US$ 1820 per week (up to Dec. 15, 2008)
US$ 375 per night / US$ 2625 per week (Dec. 15, 2008 - April 15, 2008)
 
Prices are:
1) Per night in US Dollar.
2) Including water, electricity (450 Kwh per week), 1x per week cleaning and linens.
3) Electrical meter reading will be taken at check-in and check-out. Over usage of electricity will be charged at check-out and is due in cash.
4) Rental rates are subject to 5% tax.
5) Minimum stay is 5 nights.
